Elevation Sunday- Relationships

Seven years ago Rope Myers and I talked about the importance of a "World Class Church Service" to honor God and the "Rodeo Family"at the National Final Rodeo.  Over the next few night's I didn't sleep much to say the least.  The vision that The Father gave me grew bigger than my ability pretty quick.  The Father is faithful to always give you more than you can do so you can rely on Him and the others He will send.  Not long after the vision He began to send people.  You see that is what is most valuable is people, not money, not your own talents but His people.  My bride,  Lorissa was the first one to see what Father had said and then He started sending relationships that had begun long ago.  Jennifer and Stran Smith jumped in with both feet.  None of this would be possible without Jennifer and the relationships she has created in her life.  If there was a MVP of our event it would be Jennifer.  Jennifer brought her great friend Stacy Gilbert Smith who brought Mike Walker (event producer).  The Father has all the people to fulfill His plan upon the earth it just takes us agreeing how important they are.  The visions or events (church services), ministries are never bigger than the individuals He gives.  When the event becomes more important than the creation He has given to create the event the event is in trouble.  I have just mentioned a few relationships that have blown me away concerning Elevation Sunday.  I have relationships with some or  Stacy, Jennifer or others have relationships with others who have laid their lives down for the vision.  Cody and Stacey Custer, Ty and Lori Shepard, Rope and Holden Myers, MGM Hotel and Casino,  Jeff Medders,  Juan and Shari Rivera,  Susie Dobbs,  Carter and Tessa Edmondson,  Joe and Jenna Beaver,  Cody and Jenny Ohl,  Fred and Cassie Whitfield and Trevor and Shada Brazile just to mention this years people.  I am talking about experts in what Father has given them and they are willing to give to us.  Father help us as Elevation Family to never allow the event to become more important than your creation who creates the event.  Thank you for blessing them!  

THE TEAM

I just read an article about the Duke basketball team.  I believe Father showed me some keys in this article about His team.  The key to Coach K's system is a constant dialogue from every player throughout every practice and throughout every game.  The key for success is five players playing as one.  For this to happen no one can become self centered.  The second one of his players stops talking Coach K believes he becomes focused on himself (good or bad) this stops the flow of the team.  Father revealed to me when I quit talking it allows my focus and inner-language to become  self centered and the flow of the kingdom (team) stops.  Coach K believes communication is the key not to allow his players to become isolated.  I believe communication with Father and the teammates He has given me will allow me not to become isolated.  This allows His flow and His kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven.  Communication allows me to flow within a family and not be isolated as one.  LOVE WINS!

Belief Not Control

The systems of this world religious, medical, political and even family are in competition with our belief.  When these systems are not submitted to the love of Father they control us by fear.  "You better vaccinate your baby or he will get sick", or "you better not vaccinate your baby or he will get sick".  "You need to be baptized right now, have you said the sinners prayer??, have you been baptized in the Holy Spirit evidence speaking in tongues??, do you go to church?, do you read the bible?, if so which version?"  "If you are a Christian you need to vote this way" (because we need to legislate righteousness!! good luck). "  "Don't have sex outside of marriage or "blank" will happen to you."  The systems that have been used to control people don't work and never will.  Friends the kingdom comes by belief not control.  When we are a true representation of Father and believe in people, it frees them from a system into a relationship.  We no longer have to be a policeman.  We can just be a friend.  I believe the Father will show you when to or not to for you and your household.  I believe the same relationship He gives me and mine He also offers to you and yours.  I don't need to be the Holy Spirit for you He is great at it.  My friends we have a Father that believes in us.  He believes you and I will follow His voice on every decision in life.  My life will look a little different from yours and that is ok.  I don't have to place my moral codes on you.  What I can do is believe you are taking it to your Father and following Him.  Love Wins!!

Taking Off The Mask

The trouble is not always taking off the mask, the true fight is not putting a new one on.  The Father is serious about not hiding.  The "holy",  the church has been after in my lifetime is morality.  The "mask" of morality is a tricky one,  if we meet the standards of "holy morality" it can leave you empty.  The standards in my lifetime have been; 1. Do you go to "church"? 2. Do you drink? 3. Do you have sex outside of marriage? 4. Are you saved? 5. Do you listen to rock 'n' roll?  I have taken off or put on all these masks in my search for meaning and none of it met my deep meaning of belonging.  My deep need of belonging is met in my relationship with my Father, a place where all the masks are taken off and I find out He just loves me period.

Accountability

Recently I had someone tell me I needed to go to "church" to be accountable.  Going to "church" has never kept me accountable anymore than going to a sporting event makes me an athlete.  As a son of The Father it is true I have a responsibility to be accountable.  This accountability comes from a buy in or choice on my part to be known and not to live a hidden life.  The Father says the man who loves God will be known by God.  This is also true in the natural the man who loves his family will be known by his family.  It is not in going to "church" and looking accountable, but in being open and known by those closest to me.  I believe the most important thing is not doing and going, but instead being and becoming.  Doing and going is following a system, being and becoming is following the voice of truth for you and yours.  There is a time to go to church and there is a time not to.  The Father's voice is what we follow and not the voice of a stranger.   I believe being true to the relationships we are in right this minute is the best way to "be accountable."

Is It Good or Evil?

The Father said to eat from the tree of LIFE!  To many times I go back to my knowledge of good or evil before I bring The Father's tree of Life into the equation.  I believe this is what Jesus disciples did when they looked upon the death of their friend, Jesus.  They judged His death as evil and couldn't believe their three years together was going to end like that.  Looking from our point of view His death was the best thing that ever happened, it gives us access to our loving Father.  Let us not be so quick to judge good or evil without first adding The Father's tree of life.
